Jean-Zen Daylily Mountain in Taimali Township is the main plantation area of daylilies in Taiwan and the mountains are covered with a sea of golden flowers during its peak bloom period. Every summer, around late July through late August, the annual event, Taimali Daylily Festival, attracts numerous tourists from far and near. In the area, white lilies bloom around April and May. Static exhibitions and celebration activities are held among beautiful and elegant lily flowers. July is the time for harvest festivities of different indigenous communities in Taitung County, including Paiwan and Amis. Furthermore, there are sight-seeing platforms, pavilions, walking trails and parking spaces, allowing tourists to enjoy a great time on Jean-Zen Daylily Mountain.

Transport 【By train】Take a train and get off at TRA Taimali Station. Change to a bus toward Jean-Zen Daylily Mountain.
【By airplane】Take an airplane to arrive at Taitung Airport. Taimali is about 30 minutes from the airport. Tourists can change to rental cars or motorbikes to get to Taimali.
Driving 1. Northbound: Drive north along Provincial Highway No. 9 and head towards Jhihben and Taimali→Take Taimali Street, make a right turn at 7-11 and move towards Jean-Zen Daylily Mountain→Go straight until you arrive.
2. Southbound: Drive north along Provincial Highway No. 9 and head towards Jhihben and Taimali→Take Taimali Street, make a left turn at 7-11 and move towards Jean-Zen Daylily Mountain→Go straight until you arrive.
2. Jean-Zen Daylily Mountain Leisure Agricultural Area is at an elevation of approximately 1340 m. Please prepare yourself enough warm clothing.
